Medcor is looking to hire a full-time EMT, Paramedic, or LPN to serve as the Clinic Manager in our employer-based occupational health clinic in Upper Marlboro, MD.
This is a hands-on clinical leadership role that combines direct patient care with day-to-day clinic management. You’ll work independently while partnering closely with the client’s safety, HR, and leadership teams and receiving support from Medcor’s clinical and operational resources.

What You’ll Do
As the Clinic Manager, you’ll oversee daily clinic operations while remaining actively involved in patient care. Responsibilities include:
Provide first aid care and evaluate workplace injuries and illnesses
Assess, triage, and treat patients according to Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs)
Manage daily clinic operations, workflows, scheduling, and administrative responsibilities
Provide ongoing workers’ compensation case management
Support Return to Work (RTW) programs and monitor treatment plans
Coordinate care and follow-up with outside medical providers
Complete pre-employment and post-offer screenings
Perform Physical Assessment Testing (PATs)
Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records
Support OSHA recordkeeping and workplace health documentation
Partner with client safety, environmental, HR, and benefits teams
Support onsite employee health, wellness, and injury-prevention initiatives
Build strong relationships with employees, client leadership, and Medcor teams
Provide an excellent patient and client experience
What We’re Looking For
You Must:
Hold a current EMT, Paramedic, or LPN license/certification applicable to the position
Have current CPR/BLS certification
Be comfortable taking ownership of daily clinic operations
Have strong verbal and written communication skills
Be comfortable working independently and making sound clinical decisions within your scope of practice
Have strong computer and technology skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records
Be able to lift a 50 lb. emergency response bag
Be dependable, approachable, and passionate about providing excellent patient care
It’s a Plus If:
You have previous occupational health experience
You have experience in emergency medicine, EMS, urgent care, or a similar clinical environment
You have previous leadership, clinic management, or case management experience
You’re comfortable partnering directly with workplace safety and HR teams
