Physician - Short Term, Onsight

Medcor is seeking a short-term full-time Physician to provide hands-on clinical care to employees at our client’s state-of-the-art mobile clinic in Stamford, CT. The dates for this role are November 4, 2025 – March 16, 2026. The position will cover a day shift schedule from 11/4/25 – 3/16/26 (details below). Weekend availability is required. The official start date for this position will be Monday, 10/27/2025.

  • 11/4/25 – 2/1/26 – 8:30a – 5p, Tu – Sa
  • 2/2/26 – 2/23/26 – 7a – 7p, 3 days/ wk.
  • 2/24/26 – 3/1/26 – clinic closed
  • 3/2/26 – 3/16/26 – 8:30a – 5p, Tu - Sa

Scope of Services
The scope of services provided in this clinic includes episodic and urgent care, preventive services, and diagnosis and treatment of work-related injuries and illness. Basic point-of-care lab work and limited prescription dispensing are available on-site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with team including Registered Nurses and Oversight Physician.
  • Provide assessment and treatment of work-related illnesses and injuries.
  • Provide urgent care for non-work-related injuries and illnesses as best supports site activities.
  • Provide initial evaluation and stabilization of patients who present with illnesses or injuries that require a higher level of care or EMS transport.

You Must Have

  • A valid and unrestricted medical license in Connecticut.
  • Board Certification in Occupational Medicine OR a relevant Primary Care Field (e.g. Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Emergency Medicine).
  • A current and unrestricted DEA registration and, as applicable, state-controlled substances registration.
  • A positive outlook and be a collaborative team player.
  • A commitment to go above and beyond for excellent customer service.
  • The ability to lift a 30 lb. jump bag and perform chest compressions in an emergency.

You Should

  • Be comfortable and productive working with computers and EMR software.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills – with patients, clients and colleagues.
  • Have Occupational Health and Workers’ Compensation experience.
  • Have Clinical leadership experience.
