Clinic Administrative Assistant

Medcor is looking to hire a Clinic Administrative Assistant to join our on-site team on a Full-Time basis at our clinic at NBCUniversal in Universal City, CA. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8am - 4pm. The pay range is $24 - $26/ hr. based on years and type of experience.

This position will assist the clinic team in daily duties including but not limited to preparing reports, checking in patients, maintaining office supplies and equipment, and tracking work comp claims.

A typical day in the life of a Clinic Administrative Assistant:

  • Prepare and maintain reports for the clinical and management teams
  • Inventory management
  • General office duties
  • Greet and direct clients and visitors
  • Make appointments and referrals
  • Answers phone calls and email
  • Perform data entry and filing tasks including work with confidential employee or departmental files
  • Receive, record, and distribute packages and mail
  • Copy, collate, and otherwise prepare reports for mailings, meetings, and other correspondence
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

You Must

  • Be a high school graduate
  • Have at least 1 year of clerical work experience
  • Be proficient with data entry, typing, and a good grasp of proper grammar
  • Be able to greet visitors, clients, and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Be able to type at least 50 wpm
  • Be able to proofread
  • Have a basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
  • Be able to work independently and identify and solve problems
  • Be able to organize and prioritize work
  • Have strong telephone and organizational skills
  • Have excellent computer skills, including experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Teams.
  • Have experience operating printers, copiers and document scanners.
  • Be able to access and use the Internet and e-mail programs
  • Be self-motivated and can execute multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Have outstanding professional communication skills and the ability to handle a variety of personalities

It’s a Plus If

  • You have experience in the entertainment industry and/ or a medical setting
  • You have previous office experience
